First time tooting from #Tor :blobcatsunglasses:

I am trying to move as many ​of my casual browsing as possible to Tor to reduce my fingerprint. Not to "hide" but to become even more harder to track by nasty, disgusting #corporations.
Reading news, I feel like they became more shameless recently so I despise more their attempts to squeeze and monetize every bit of #data they touch. And I am willing to starve them of my data further than before.
If they are ready to break the laws and count EU GDPR fines as business costs I guess data are valuable. So why not keep this precious thing for myself? :blobcat_amused:​

If some pages will block me, it may be signal for me they aren't respecting users and maybe I should stop visit them :blobCat_devil:​

I don't want to make these disgusting entities richer and stronger. I don't want participate in this.
I am not "digital biomass" or "free data mine".
I despise what they did to the web.

Maybe I don't have do this for Mastodon, I personally know my admin :blobcatjoy:​ I am simply doing some innocent tests.

Installed bridge from #Matrix to #Discord, on my VPS with my Matrix instance. Now my instance has effectively better integration with Discord than with the rest of Matrix network.

When I was going to the secondary school, I drew some characters during boring classes
(most of time in school :blobcatjoy:​). I often drew some kind of nature spirits or elementals, partially inspired by alchemists' belief system. Air elementals for me looked like this, somewhat like angels.

Maybe I should recreate some alchemy-inspired motifs I often drew as a teenager?

It was also ethical matter for me, I didn't want to deal with #Microsoft, so morally bankrupt corporation, in any way. Both for data stealing, #privacy violations and disrespect for users and for compliance with authoritarian governments and creating #surveillance technologies for oppression.

Yes, I wrote this in form as a reason, in more detailed way, until I used character limit.

Now I feel... More coherent? And it's good feeling.

I like playing with this style, because I feel I do it in specific way. Objects have only shapes and sky in the background has only colours. It is something strange in positive way in experience during creating these things.

Some random anxious thoughts...

I currently read some crime #novels again. Fiction literature. And there are many encounters with police gaining access to someone's (either criminal or victim) #email content, private messages on #SocialMedia, text messages on #phone etc. I wonder if it could be really possible in real world.

Or what would happen if someone use hard disk encryption? Do they have these #data from service providers? Could using encrypted email service like #Protonmail or #Tutanota prevent this? If I understand correctly, emails content is encrypted in rest.

Are regular data deletion, history cleaning and/or disappearing messages (like #signal features) effective for this?

If someone avoid big mainstream services, only niche/encrypted/self-hosted ones are they safe?

Is it possible to become immune to this both via software/service choices and online habits? How to achieve this if so?

I don't want to commit crimes, only become "invincible" :blobcatjoy:​
