    We have a couple of different kinds of poppies growing here and there in our garden. A few years ago I tossed some wildflower seeds around so every year different flowers appear.

    I think sea turtles are cute and grumpy looking at the same time. I wish I could manage that look but when I'm grumpy I'm definitely not cute.

    Right now sweet peas are growing like mad alongside our nearby highways. They sure brighten the place up! We picked some and watched the colors turn into exquisite shades of blue and purple as they aged.

    The lotus flower symbolizes purity, resilience, strength and rebirth as it grows from muddy waters and opens its petals at daybreak. This is the latest in my lotus series.

    I created another flower garden abstract to complement the first one. Still experimenting with creating a 3D quilt effect but please note, this is not an actual quilt! I love how this one looks printed on products too, especially the throw pillows.

    How about a psychedelic landscape to help get you through the week? This is part of my continuing series of landscapes with a mosaic effect, similar to one shown on the CBS News Sunday Morning show last week. It isn't a real mosaic, but it can be printed on all kinds of products as well as prints!
