Someone should make a new 16-bit console and put a big marketing push behind it. We keep seeing many new games being made today for our beloved 8-bit and 16-bit systems including #Amiga#NES#ZXSpectrum#GameBoy and other fan favorites, but the hardware is dying and it’s not easily obtainable, so games are being made out of pure passion and nothing more.
I wonder if such an idea has any chance of success… I would love a new 16-bit handheld in GameBoy format.
When people who have a different opinion from mine mute me because they cannot handle opinions different than theirs, is it okay if I mute them back? I love a good argument, but talking to a wall is not my thing. I am on Fediverse because I like the conversation.
I need advice or a hint from @gohugoio users. I want to make a fairly simple static webpage for a small restaurant, but the complex part is that they need to be able to edit this week’s menu. If I were the one editing the menu, that would be a no-brainer: SSH into my dev machine, edit the MD file, and do a simple git push. However, I need to make it simple for them, the restaurant staff. Please ping me if you have ideas.
Here is this week’s #Linux and #Opensource news video!
I don’t have time to recap it here, because I’m currently fighting for Super Earth, so you’ll have to watch it to know!
@thelinuxEXP An incident in just one state in Germany. The Germans might even be embarrassed that it is talked about so much.
For example, if Romania, Moldova, etc. did the same thing, no one would talk about it. If Greece did it, it would be talked about, but Turkey, which has been doing it for 18 years, is not talked about.
Whatever the Western media presents to the public, the public only knows that much.
The world is bigger than America and Europe.
I gave KDE Plasma Mobile another go. It improved a LOT over the past few months. No crashes yet! It's a lot more stable now. Although not as stable as Phosh.
I like their whole "just copy Android" philosophy. Everything feels familiar and intuitive. I might keep it like this.

@popey The cause of the problem is most likely that the software does not support the wayland protocol. Tearing may occur when the software transfers the image via xwayland. There is no rule that says there will be tearing in every software.
@AAKL@TheNewStack@sjvn "Even more concerning is the possibility of other heretofore undiscovered backdoors that have been planted in this library, or have taken root in earlier versions of the library that many more servers are still using."
@darth There are a few people, I'm actually talking about them. This is not a statement made for all users.👌 (Some people think they are something because they can install the operating system.)
