Having got my mits on a reprint of the original 1987 40,000 rulebook, I should note that it contains rules for creating your own units from scratch...

(Personally, I'd love to play 3rd or 4th edition with the 2nd ed Psychic phase and strategy cards, but I am strange and perverse.)

@bart @jbaert the season has silly hearts with boosts like aspects or gems but they're a bit rubbish in my opinion, rarely you find one useful like the corpse trigger for necromancer so you wander round exploding corpses every second creating mayhem (and melting my graphics card)
The quest extension isn't too bad skiing with it though, hell tide got harder, the nightmare dungeons are pretty much the same. A few cosmetics a few new season aspects. I'd still have preferred keeping my paragons tho

The cask ale menu in my local - Digger's. Outstanding prices. Also the manager has just announced that he now has 665 different malt whiskies for sale and having difficulty finding space for the other 35 he wants too add.

Great pub, I would say the best whisky bar in the capital. If you are in Edinburgh over The Festival you should pay a visit.

Lothian Buses 1, 2, 3, 4, 25, 33, 34, 35 and 44 all take you there πŸ˜€

@djl seconded. The pies deserve a mention too as they are award winning. Cocktails on tap and plenty gin too now. They even serve lager where in the past kettle would have been politely advised to try the next bar song the road πŸ˜†
The Caley sample room along the road is theirs too now and does a great value steak sandwich.
