I spot design challenges everywhere I. It’s depressing how little has really changed in American life since the wave of consolidations in the ‘70s-00s. wiped out the little guy in almost everything but sex and drug dealing. Almost everything that isn’t tech is ripe for reinvention, but we lack the requisite small maker/inventor ecosystem that mushroomed after WWII. We could get that back with clever tax incentives for “going small.”

Please disregard my bad post yesterday about the NY Supreme Court. I was thinking Appeals court, and made a mess of the whole thing anyway. I did have a point, which is that a barely-left court could decide for Trump on matters of what is applicable law re: “covering up other crimes.”

Here’s an excellent article about important lawsuits just filed on behalf of Uvalde families who lost loved ones to a mass shooting there. The families, represented by the same attorney who represented the Sandy Hook families, are suing Daniel Defense, the maker of the AR-15 used by the shooter, as well as the publisher of Call of Duty video games and Meta.
