@jake4480 Absolutely! Dealing with laundry feels like a never-ending saga in the grand drama of human existence. My mum takes it to another level – she irons everything from bedsheets to towels! They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, but maybe our family tree was planted on a steep incline, and I rolled quite a distance away. I've managed to inherit just the shirt-duty gene! 😄
@jake4480 Oh, I get it! I actually don't mind folding - I love keeping my closet neat and organized. But hey, to make it less boring, podcasts are my go-to! They're a lifesaver during those laundry sessions.
Today's Tea is Big Red Dog from the #FridayAfternoonTea advent calendar. The heavy rooibos blend contains orange peel, clove, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, natural vanilla flavoring and bergamotte oil. Hot damn, it's A LOT - in the sense that strolling over a crowded christmas market is a lot. You don't even know which smells and flavors to concentrate on. This is a blend to enjoy with friends, it asks for easy conversation and community. I may revisit it with a dash of milk next time. @tea

I have a bad habit of going out for #coffee every morning. It's not just 'a coffee' but a froufrou espresso-infused beverage. It's expensive and seems to drive my appetite all day.
I thought the snow might help me stay home in the morning. I even got treats from Whole Foods. But somehow the snow made me want to go out even more.
@kai Enjoy those morning coffee runs without being too hard on yourself. Interestingly, studies show that when we view something as a guilty pleasure, it triggers a psychological response that often leads to more repetition. Embrace it as a delightful ritual rather than a guilty indulgence! btw I adore Starbucks, and every time I intend to try something different, I find myself unable to resist my go-to order: Tall-no-water-extra-hot-soy-milk-chai-latte. It's just too good to pass up! 😊

So, I've noticed something interesting in my recent online grocery shopping. Extra virgin olive oil, a Mediterranean staple, was priced at £5.90 about a month ago. However, it went out of stock for three weeks, and now it's back, but at a higher price - £6.85. Can you believe it? The price has gone up by approximately 16.1%! 🥴 🤔 #mastodon#tuesdaythoughts
