When it comes to Trump in prison, the political issues far outweigh the physical concerns. He would have his Secret Service protection nearby, and keep in mind he's not Magneto. He probably couldn't even break out of one of those cardboard "prisons" that you see on #YouTube.
@mikewoods They are not allowed their own phones. There is usually access to official (monitored, except under defined circumstances like discussions with lawyers) phones that are usually expensive to use, a point of major contention. And phones are smuggled in.
Just when I tought I was too old for node and web programming one of my work colleagues suggested me to take a couple of youtube courses by a guy called the net ninja.
I wish this quality content was available back in the old days when I first learned programming, I cannot recommend #theNetNinja#youtube#courses more.

An influencer reading other people’s semi-funny tweets on repeat. Hundreds and hundreds. Endlessly.
It keeps giving you little hits of dopamine over and over, keeps you hooked, wastes your time & doesn’t get you anywhere even if you feel something like a real feeling.
I call these ”brain rot”. My kid agreees, and keeps watching.
The race to the bottom of the brain stem is painful to watch sometimes. 🙁

Now, I've enjoyed their videos over the years, but not enough to subscribe, so I mentally wished them well and moved on. But holy hell, check out social media and you'll find it filled with rage over this perceived economic, ideological, and very personal betrayal.
@artemis Also, since it's likely VOD, you can subscribe for a month and watch what you want and then subscribe again later. I already told my Watcher-loving daughter that I wasn't subscribing, but I would definitely entertain subscribing for a month or two when their shows we all like stream - like Puppet History.
Just stumbled into the history of the song "Kisses Sweeter Than Wine", then researched deeper on #YouTube and YouTube Music. It began as an old Irish ballad about ... a dead cow. I am absolutely blown away. History for the win.

Perso, je préfère me servir de #Firefox en allant sur YouTube que de bidouiller un truc bancal. Passer par Newpipe, Individus ou jsais pas quoi, je trouve ça con. Faut changer de plateforme, pas faire semblant de s'en servir proprement.

@tilvids Not sure what "third-party" apps they're talking about because they mention API use and the only 3rd party apps I use don't make use of youtube's API... Piped: Unaffected, YTDLP: Unaffected, NewPipe: Unaffected, SmartTube: unaffected.
The only app i've noticed any recent change on was revanced, which is not a third party app, its a mod of their official first party app and the fix was just to patch a newer youtube version.
