Good morning friends, happy Thursday! Sunshine and coffee are the only things keeping me going. I finally gave up and started my day at 3:30, and the dogs were not happy about it, they prefer 4:45. I'm hoping to keep my head down and phone on DND to avoid pesky salespeople. 😉
What's everyone else's day look like? Hopefully, it's more exciting than the salt mine I'm in. No matter what your day has in store, have the best one you can! 🌄🌞
After two days of skipping the gym cause...meh, went back today and glad I did. Feeling better today and, it appears, my kids are all feeling better too.
I am thankful for that.
Tonight is the last game of my 9 year olds' indoor soccer season. Here's hoping the duo plays well. This is the ONLY team in the league that MDMRN Twin 1 has not scored on, so she is determined to do so.
In Norse #mythology, #Thor is the god associated with storms, lightning, and thunder. Similarly, in Roman mythology, #Jupiter assumed a comparable position as the god of the sky and thunder. #Thursday was attributed to Jupiter, a tradition adopted by Germanic peoples as well. Additionally, ancient Albanians also adhered to this cultural practice of linking Thursday to the deity of fire.
Give me your poor, your tired, your book quotes yearning to be free... February 29th edition 😁
I'd prefer quotes from your own work, but it can be from any author or book you'd like to share...
