I find it pretty hilarious that #Christians claim to be #Prolife on christian grounds when the #bible explicity tells people that not only abortions are ok, but actively tells you that you SHOULD have abortions (under certain circumstances).
Dont take my word for it, the bible is pretty clear about this.
If she has made herself impure and been unfaithful to her husband, this will be the result: When she is made to drink the water that brings a curse and causes bitter suffering, it will enter her, her abdomen will swell and her womb will miscarry, and she will become a curse. – Numbers 5:24-27
also not quite as direct but still pretty damn suggestive:

and the penalty for violently hurting a woman causing a miscarriage is just a fine, but killing the woman is death, almost as if the lives arent equal…

Peter (as many of you already know) comes from the Greek translation, "Petros."

The most precious book I own is not my bible, but my dad’s bible. It was his guide for living, his notebook, occasionally an address & phone book, his prayer requests, & more. The spine cracked long ago, the binding is coming apart, & pages are loose all over the place. What I’m trying to say is that it’s the most beautiful book I own & I hope my bible one day resembles his.

f) Taking part in a weekly early morning prayer meeting, and virtual discipleship group on Saturday mornings.
g) This Saturday I have an hour's slot in 24 hours of prayer.
h) On Sunday I shall be chairing the meeting of Ironworks Pike Community Church.
i) On Sunday 30th April I shall be delivering a message from the Word of God to our church. That day is also my birthday.

I am beginning to believe that any behavioral rules in the #bible, maybe arguably apart from the 10 Commandments, should exclusively be seen (binding) in the sociocultural context of the time it was written.
The other day I saw this in a post: “The only way to know the truth is to read and learn the Bible” and I’ve been sitting with it. Here’s the thing: Jesus tells us that HE is the truth. So is the original post saying that the Bible leads to Jesus and therefore truth? Or are we trying to say that the words themselves are the truth? Because if it’s the latter, that’s getting close to idol territory… #Christianity#Bible#Truth#WhatIsTruth
