Thank you to everyone who has donated books from our wish lists. The books will be sent to people like Ahmad in California, who sent us a letter a few days ago saying: "Words cannot describe how grateful I am about your organization sending us books. From the deepest of my heart THANK YOU!"
There is still time to donate and have your donation matched.
Whether giving or receiving care, showing your appreciation for the other person’s efforts (no matter how great or small and no matter the results) will help both of you.
-A rapid strep test plus antibiotics mean my daughter felt well enough to go to school today.
-My new blow dryer is lighter, quieter, and more efficient than the one it replaced.
-We found a $20 replacement for medicine that had been costing $100 a month.
Bonus: I have an interesting editing project from Cornell University Press--an academic work with a feminist twist.
☕️ Seems most of what I share lately is #coffee 🤔😝🤓
A pick-me-up after unexpected adulting (read : #adulting + #ChronicIllness = #pwME / #MECFS exhaustion) from a surprise plumber I've been trying to schedule 🙌🏽
Wiped out, post-clean-up, BIG #gratitude for amazing #vegan#café au lait (a treat bc usually drink black)! 🥳
Sending good vibes to my kindred invisible-#disability folks 💕
This is another one of our smaller #Buddha statues. We painted it gold. We have multiple Buddha statues of various sizes, all over our front & back gardens. We practice Taoism but also adopted a lot of Buddhist practices - they tend to interconnect with many crossovers.
Wishing you all more peace & quiet, beautiful & soul-filled moments in life 💗❤️💗

For today's #ThankYouTuesday, I want to express my gratitude to the entire open-source community. Past, present, and future. I owe so much to what many developers, sysadmins, enthusiasts have built and maintained. I've always believed that culture should be free and accessible to all, and the OSS community has made it possible to study, learn, and implement complex and professional solutions without the need for closed systems, licenses, or expensive "certification" courses.
#ClimateDiary It’s spring and it’s wonderful. So much joy, beauty, abundance, grandeur from nature, just there, in my otherwise mundane neighbourhood. Bluebells feel very early, along with everything else, but i also want to relish and be grateful for all whilst we still have it. #FrugalAbundance#Gratitude
We received the following letter from Dennis, a grateful reader who is incarcerated in Texas:
"In this crappy world, sometimes the best thing to do is read a book! I want to thank y'all for sending books to those of us who can't afford to get any."
#ClimateDiary Back from a family get-together for my father’s 80th in Wales over Easter weekend. All 19 of us together in a beautiful part of the world, sunshine throughout (no need for coats, even some swimming. Unseasonally warm, i know, but wonderful for us). And i was so worried before but we even managed to all get on 😊.
Getting another molar pulled on Wednesday. I'll need dentures this year & need #MutualAid help to pay for them - no medical coverage for dentures. I have only few molars left.
My #medical#fundraiser update -
$730 raised of $4,205 goal • 14 donations total.
THANK YOU, to everyone who donated to my medical fundraiser! THANK YOU, to everyone who shared my link!
I can call to book appointment with denturist to start on getting full set of dentures made. I have another dentist appointment today to extract another molar & plan for rest of extractions.
Very grateful for the kindness & mutual aid support! Alleviates stress & anxiety💗
“Your life, right now, today, is exploding with energy and power and detail and dimension, better than the best movie you have ever seen. This is it. This is life in all its glory, swirling and unfolding around us, disguised as pedantic, pedestrian non-events.” — Shauna Niequist

ROB HALFORD Says No End In Sight For JUDAS PRIEST: "We Owe Our Fans Everything"
"We're just so grateful to be where we are."
I went for a 40 minute walk outside & got my 5500 steps in. Last week was not ideal, not for #KickingTheShitOutOfPOTS. This week I'll do better. Starting today. And if I still fail, I'll make changes. I'm tired again. I had so much energy before Covid in Feb. My body is fighting me again & I'm tired. I'm going to row just 10 minutes. After I row, I'll do 10 minutes of pilates. That makes an hour of exercise & THAT I consider a decent day at the gym. Strap in, kids. Let's row. #DarkHorseRowing
I'm going to smoke a big bowl then shower. I know my body is going to give me a harsh slap of reality and tonight will probably be uncomfortable. I'll live. I have heating pad & a husband to whine to.
I feel better about myself this afternoon than I did when I woke up. Thanks for being here. #gratitude
“There is no future. There is no past. Do you see? Time is simultaneous, an intricately structured jewel that humans insist on viewing one edge at a time, when the whole design is visible in every facet.” — Alan Moore
As my father is fond of saying, "every day you spend on the right side of the grass is a good day." In that spirit, #FediFam, let's try to let go of our sadness, frustration, and fear and think of THREE GOOD THINGS™️!
🌨️ A snow flurry rolled through while I was out shopping.
🧘🏻♂️ Tried a new #yoga routine for my back and it felt great.
