I’m sitting outside with Ben and Carlie, and birds. No camera though, I left it in the house. It’s cloudy and cool, at times I find the clouds mesmerizing to watch as they slowly pass. A group of pigeons arrived, they found the feeder empty and left. I have one feeder active it takes large cakes of seed, and is enclosed with a cage. Not counting the suet feeders. The pigeons have difficulty getting through its defenses. Ben is barking because he wants to go inside.
Been making coffee with the 4-cup Daiso stainless steel moka pot lately. But today I felt like I wanted a small strong coffee, so I used my 2-cup Bialetti aluminum moka pot. I had replaced the rubber gasket with an unbranded silicone one from Shopee, and hadn't tried it out since then. I am happy to report that it works well with the gasket! When I make coffee with the 4-cup moka pot it's usually a milk drink. But this coffee after lunch with the Bialetti I'm having black, because it is that good (and strong!). #Coffee#MokaPot

Day 2 of going without coffee. Achieved a full night of deep, restful sleep. No wired, edgy, angst-y feelings. No compulsions about having to be useful. Taking life slow, and really enjoying the feeling. Slowness opens up a whole new world of leisurely creativity. Life is good. 🖖
