Of course and the rest of regressive-right media is lying to their audience, it's what propaganda outlets do.

The truth?
"the prosecutors have ably painted a damning portrait of Trump..."
and
"Before the trial, Trump was more popular (or less unpopular) than he had been in a long time; through the trial, those numbers have slowly deteriorated."

Ignore the beatings of the former president, and the rest of the regressive-right's echo chamber.

Lets be clear, Jesse. The are not locking up . The system is enforcing the law and prosecuting those who break it. That just happens to be Republicans. By dishonestly reframing the issue, is trying to turn his party's rampant criminality into a matter of in which they are the victims, and their political opponents are the evil oppressors. Don't buy it.

Honestly, the Supreme Court justices today sounded even more deranged and clueless than I even expected. They are just too worried about hypothetical future presidents to focus on the fact that we have a former president indicted for attempting to overthrow an election who is now running for reelection on an explicitly authoritarian, anti-democracy platform. 1/

Yeah, there's something very fishy about people's perceptions. "My state is doing great, but the nation is doing terribly..."

Things really don't work like that. Individual states can lag or skip ahead of the national situation, but they can't be complete opposites.

If you know anyone who is thinking/saying anything that looks like this, please take the opportunity to ask them how that's possible, because it's not.

I don't doubt that our adversaries are doing their thing on social media, but I very much do doubt they are the primary drivers of this data.

Far more likely that it's & co. and those that consume it and spread it through their churches and other networks that's the problem.

I bet if we were to see the cross tabs it would show that the vast majority of that disconnect is from registered Rs and R leaning Is.

Dr. Gartner, pt.2: "I don’t want to say the mainstream media is covering up Trump’s cognitive disability, but they certainly aren’t covering it like the 5-alarm fire it is. They are consistently not showing the parts of Trump’s speeches & interviews where his eyes go blank, his jaw goes slack, he looks confused, & slurs words, uses non-words, can't finish a sentence, rambles, perseverates, confabulates & babbles incoherently. That’s what should make the 6 o’clock news."

The various for-profit media that the watching regressive-right will never ever trust have been worked over by so called conservatives to the point where they no longer can see how biased against the center-left they have become.

The same goes for too many Democrats in critical governmental positions.

Here is the appellate court's denial of Trump's claim of immunity:
https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.cadc.40415/gov.uscourts.cadc.40415.1208593677.0.pdf

The decision opens by summarizing the allegations in the indictment, being careful to add that guilt hasn't yet been determined.

The court then dismisses the idea that they don't have jurisdiction over the issue and concludes that it does.

Then, on to immunity. The court rejects Trump's "separation of powers" argument, saying this:

That's strong language.
