Tories collect more tax from us than any Government has done since the Second World War.

Tories have also borrowed more money in 14 years than every Government combined has borrowed in history.

Yet Tories have cut services, funding & investment.

So where's the money gone...

Ford government uses new powers to sidestep Toronto’s say in Ontario Place plans

As a result of the zoning order, Toronto city council will no longer be able to weigh in on technical elements of the project as it does on other buildings that go through the local planning process.

@zazzoo We were just talking about Ford wasting money??Priorities all wrong!!

This situation, to me, really showcases the / mindset: they clearly don’t believe the rules should apply to them, and when the law actually does hold them accountable they look for loopholes and workarounds to allow them to keep doing the thing the law tells them they cannot do.

These folks should never be put in charge of anything.

Conservatives: "We don't like the federal government meddling"

The feds make changes.

Conservatives: "No! Not like that!"

Someone please put them on the time out chair!! This childish behaviour is exhausting.

The Tories have spent the last 14 years in Government perpetrating scam after scam to pour our taxes into the pockets of their cronies who've taken everything, delivered nothing & scarpered.

Even if a future Government tried to recover the money, many of the companies that received millions from the the public purse have been wound up, some owing HMRC vast sums in unpaid taxes.

As the number following this path increase, it might make you wonder if it's part of a plan...

A fine Graham MacKay from Saturday...

I'm thinking PP's going to stick with the strategy:

  • blame vulnerable minorities for everything
  • say little to nothing in campaigns. Offer no solutions.
  • after the election, pivot to a Doug Ford style kleptocracy.

The "working class" supporters get nothing. They got nothing from Harper. They got nothing from Ford. They got not much from Trudeau.

When a leader tells you he wants to be a dictator believe him.

"Love the idea or hate it, experts say federal use of notwithstanding clause would be a bombshell"
"
"I will be the democratically elected prime minister, democratically accountable to the people," he said. "And👉 they can then make the judgments themselves on whether they think my laws are constitutional, because they will be."👈

Who hasn't thought this after all no party is perfect.

The way I see it we have a choice while on social media:

  1. Inform people of our opinion and proceed to the next step,
  2. Encourage people to help make changes by organizing a petition, giving out or asking for contact info...

When a toxic government run by millionaires announces a plan intended to cause distress to the vulnerable, poorest people is society, it's the responsibility of those able to stand up for them to do so.

Laws were changed to protect the wealthy & prevent protest against the Tories.

Weak Governments that fear their own population, but fiercely defend their own corruption, are a danger to everyone.

The Tories must be defeated at the election & they must never be reelected.

Arrrgh! I am having trouble keeping track of GOP atrocities. I thought it was Tennessee that ended the lunch breaks for child workers, but they were the ones who decided to give guns to teachers.
Ending women's rights to healthcare and abortions, promoting gun violence in schools by arming teachers, refusing children food...it is becoming confusing which red states are the worst.

Privatisation explained:

We owned it.
Our taxes built it.
Tories sold it.
We paid more to use it.
Their cronies asset stripped it.
Shareholders got rich.
They donated to Tories.
Tories cut their taxes.
The business failed.
Their greed destroyed it.
...& Tories gave us the bill.
