Trans Menschen existieren überall und in jeder gesellschaftlichen Gruppe. Uns gibt es mit und ohne Behinderung, homo- oder heterosexuell, mono- oder polygam, mit Migrationserfahrung oder ohne, klein oder groß, ... - oder alles dazwischen und außerhalb.
Gerade für mehrfach marginalisierte trans Personen ist die Welt wirklich gefährlich. Bitte kämpft auch für uns.
Oh, und leckt mich, ihr beschränkten Ziegen, die ihr uns damals outgecallt habt für unser "performatives heterosexuelles Rumküssen" auf der Queer-Party. Ihr könnt mich mal mit eurer beschränkten Weltsicht und eurem Abgestelle auf Äußerlichkeiten! Yes, I'm talking about the goddess #Inanna, her descent into the underworld, death for 3 days, & resurrection by 2 #trans people who rescued her. Inanna, filled with gratitude, promised to be there for us, always. Inanna, with power to turn man into woman, woman into man.
Enheduannna, world's 1st known author, high priestess of the moon god in the city of Ur, wrote of Inanna & of trans people in the world's oldest known written works. She celebrated us. There's good reason to believe she was one of us.
On this #TransDayOfVisibility, this is the resurrection on my mind. And given the millennia-long genocide trans people have endured, & the fact that we have a day of visibility, I'm thinking of our own resurrection, of our community.
