Something weird’s happened to the gas usage stats I'm getting from via their api

I got no gas usage for 4 days (which is usual), but when it came back it seems to be massively under-reporting usage

At the start of the month it was typically logging 70-80kWh per day of gas usage (big, old, poorly insulated house!), now it's showing 7-8kWh per day

That's a suspiciously neat ratio/discrepancy

As 1㎥≈10kWh I suspect they've switched to reporting volume rather than energy 🤔

I wonder if this means have finally migrated me to the "new” metering and billing platform? If so I might be able to use the API to get real-time data into at last!

Well, that was easier than expected. It helps that I'm feeling a lot more confident with these days (classic case of a great piece of software with UI and documentation written by programmers 😀)

Not 100% sure if I should be using “cost today" or the rate sensor, as it says in HA you should be adding a total usage, which the integration doesn't seem to provide 🤔

When I worked at the computer predominantly in the ( at night), I used almost all the time.
Now that I am more often in front of a display and in , I rediscover .
On the screen grab you can see the new light shell variant coming to (mimicked by the Light Shell extension).
I find it interesting how such a small change can bring so much joy. 😇️
