Posting this mosaic seemed appropriate for tonight. It's at the entrance to No 6 Park Gardens in the west end of Glasgow, which, at one time, was the headquarters of the Scottish Football Association.
I've always loved mosaic art. It gives the image a somewhat 3D textured appearance. I created Brooklyn Bridge Mosaic using Night Café and some of the prompts included mosaic and mysterious.
This is the first piece I created in my Labor Of Love Series Circa 2005. I hand painted each shape and then used a black paint pen to outline each piece. Very time consuming! But these paintings live on. I still love to use them to create new art!
