So, I returned to a project that i put on hold for a few months because .. life. There are some 12000 lines of #code and many #php Classes for a #wordpress plugin. I'd like to finish this thing, and I am the only #developer. It has only been a few months but, why do I keep asking myself "Why did i do that?" "What was I thinking?" "Where is the hook into that function???" Sheesh! Right now I just want to make it presentable and clean it up down the road. Am I normal?
I'm looking for a webcam plugin for my #WordPress website. Just want people to be able to view an image that I update every few seconds using #NodeRED to #SFTP it to the server. Any suggestions from people who do this?
I think it'd be a neat idea to start a #blog, and I'm brainstorming how to do it.
Not gonna use #WordPress. #Jekyll sounds promising. There's an alternative called #Pelican that, as the creator of the the Pelicanizer, would be fitting for my blog.
My blog imports replies from other social media sites and displays them as comments.
This sometimes leads to people replying on my site rather than to the original commenter.
So I've hacked my WordPress theme to say "Reply on example.com" to give people the choice to leave a public comment or a more private reply.
Anyone capable of giving advice in layman/non-super-techy terms for where/how to change the VISITED link color in a self-hosted website created using the #Wordpress dashboard that doesn't require adding to the actual site CSS? All I can find are options for "link" and "hover," nothing about "visited," and currently the visited links on my site for some reason show up as dark green which is basically unreadable against the background. 😠
