Study suggests less conformity leads to more innovation by Complexity Science Hub
"..."When different people come together, given they have no bad intentions, new ideas emerge, which can foster innovation and contribute to economic prosperity," explains Dirk Helbing, who is an external faculty member at the Complexity Science Hub and a professor at ETH Zurich. Therefore, maintaining or even promoting socio-diversity plays a significant role. But how can this be achieved?
In a study recently published in the Journal of the Royal Society Open Science, Helbing and his colleague found evidence that socio-diversity is lower in centralized social networks, where a few key figures are connected with a lot of people..."
I guess making money somewhat honestly by having customers that actually pay for a service with at least some guarantees of privacy and safety is not as lucrative as having an open platform network where people are tricked into giving out all their data while they are spied upon for whatever reasons.

"A Geelong mother given the greenlight to launch legal action for pain and suffering as a result of contracting Covid in the workplace has spoken out about her next court battle."
@JeffBishop@MamaBraille@tayarndt I don’t use it a lot in Word because writing is a strength of mine, although I have occasionally, especially generating tables. I love it for summarising action points from a Teams meeting, noting points of commonality and difference. Quickly being refreshed of the last communication I had with one of my staff regardless of if it happened in Teams or email. Getting a fact from a recent file I’ve viewed. Summarising trends in a spreadsheet when my CFO gives me the monthly financial data etc.
@JonathanMosen@MamaBraille@tayarndt OK, so you’re using the professional version and not the consumer facing Copilot right? I never could get Excel to work very well with it and I don’t have the commercial grade version of it yet.
