One addendum. My kids got an early (unsigned) copy of her first book, and a first edition (I was visiting Edinburgh from an overseas posting for the week). It was in remarkably good condition. They (now 26-30) decided to sell it and it went to auction and raised a very substantial sum of money. They donated it in full (auction commissions are eye watering) and donated the money to a number of charities, including Mermaids and the Albert Kennedy Trust)
According to #farRight, #antigay, #transphobic#bigot groups, they are the only ones entitled to #ConstitutionalRights. People who aren't white, straight, and conservative have no expectation of civility, or the universal guarantees enumerated by the #Constitution. And that's the world these positively garbage human beings are trying to create.
I will be supporting the federal #NDP at next elections because I can't forgive #Trudeau over #Gaza#Palestine & can't get over #ForkedTongue on several other issues that are very important to me & many #Canadian#BIPOC voters
