@paul @GottaLaff I feel for you. Life in Michigan has been so calm since we elected our 3 strong women, and gave them a blue majority legislature. The legislature isn't actively embarrassing us weekly now. The GOP legislature, when we had a D governor specialized in passing poisonous legislation that they knew she'd veto, so that they could campaign on it. Psychos.

@GottaLaff I was so pissed off that the day after the Dobbs decision, I drove 40 miles to sign the ballot petitions for Michigan. And we wrangled another dozen in our small town. They turned in far more than needed. I told my local R elected officials that the measure would pass 60/40, but it passed 57/43. Either way, it was overwhelming. Nonetheless the Rs sued trying to invalidate it. It is mind-blowing that they are doing this.

Naming and shaming. I received an unsolicited letter offering to purchase vacant land from me (forest) from this company, touting how generous they are. The offer was at maybe 40% FMV, or maybe 20% of what I would require. Insulting landowners, as a strategy.

@GottaLaff Pundits driving this Michigan voter crazy this morning. Already horse-racing our primary. Michigan's primary is meaningless. Voters can request a D ballot or R ballot. There is massive screwing about with voters crossing party lines. I am aware of many D voters having voted R ballots for Haley. The "protest vote" uncommitted isn't important. Biden will be our nominee.
