@swr3 Wenn man einen neuen Rechner braucht und es ich leisten kann, am besten gleich FairPhone Handy oder FrameWork Laptop mit einem freien Betriebssystem drauf. Werde hoffentlich nie wieder ein neues Gehäuse kaufen müssen.

@oliphant@thisismissem While preparing an account for the Fedicheck Beta, I switched over to that new account for my my own external blocklist tool and noticed I needed to add permission to the dashboard its role, because I demote blocks to limit if there is a follow relationship between my server and the other server - I don't want to accidentally cut people off with an automated blocklist. Is such a feature planned for FediCheck?
Affinity has been bought by Canva, to compete with Adobe.
It was of course a matter of time before Affinity would outgrow its status of sympathetic small-scale Adobe alternative, and be sold for large proceeds.
Canva is into AI. Hopefully Affinity will get some useful AI-powered image processing tools, like upscalers and denoisers, but Canva will probably add generative shit and introduce subscriptions sooner or later.
