Ahmed Barhoum lost his wife, their five-year-old daughter, and five other relatives in an Israeli air attack on their home in Rafah last night.

“This is a world devoid of all human values and morals,” Barhoum told The Associated Press news agency while holding the body of his slain daughter, Alaa.

Surveillance of Iranian territory shows, Iran has readied more than 100 cruise missiles and an undisclosed number of drones for a large scale retaliatory strike against Israel. This comes after Israel's bombing of the Iranian embassy in Syria which killed 12 including a top Iranian general.

    I find the increasing level of buyers remorse with NZ voters so frustrating as the austerity required to fund unaffordable tax cuts for landlords and the wealthy was absolutely predictable but somehow ignored by and political commentators prior to the 2023 NZ election. Everyone is paying for Luxon and his government’s corruption.
    No one is safe while this govt is in power.
