    Thank you Meta for banning Canadian "news" content on Facebook! 'cause I know where to get real, unbiased news coverage, and where to discuss it (here). On Facebook, I had nothing but "hate groups with media credentials" being pushed in my face every day by Meta as "sponsored content". That's gone now, because of Meta's ideological, political war against Canadian journalists receiving royalties for their work. On billionaire corporate-owned social media, only propaganda was ever pushed. No loss.

    As a teacher what I'm trying to do is to make the material hard enough that it's challenging and interesting (so it's not boring)-- but not so hard that's it's frustrating.

    The wider this sweet spot is makes it easier to teach. More experienced learners start asking their own questions and making their own complications when material is too easy-- and they are more patient with frustration, but also more brave about admitting that they are lost.

    @MichaelPorter @zleap @futurebird I would do the same with classes studying tv comedy shows. Watch Bewitch. 10-20 seconds before new camera angle. Today often less than 1-2 seconds between cameras change shot.

    @mentallyalex first was the best. In Alberta a band named Privilege was doing a bootleg version of JC Superstar. They had several local bands to help with vocals and the Calgary Symphony Orchestra The did Superstar and after intermission there was another concert with all the bands playing their hit and lots of coves.privilege did Superstar in Detroit and I believe they made it to Australia. ( at least that was the rumour) Also saw the Stones in Abu Dhabi
