Today I'm proud to announce the release of Homebrew 4.2.0.

The major things this release are us finally getting off the ancient Ruby 2.6 onto shiny Ruby 3.1 and a bunch of nice other performance improvements.

Looks like there is also a spam attack coming from mastodon.online as well today as I just got a private mention, tag with numerous others, from an account there.

@southwesternwhi is the account in question.

I have reported it and blocked it and you should do the same with any similar accounts.

There is currently a spam attack coming from mastodon.world and it seems to mostly be private mentions and tagging lots of accounts.

We ask that #AllThingsTech users simply report any accounts you see as spam and block them immediately.

We will continue to monitor this to see if we need to limit mastodon.world if the situation gets out of hand or isn't handled in timely fashion.
