Popped out to the garden when I read someone's toot about the Northern Lights being visible in Northern Britain. Couldn't see them with naked eye, but long exposure, taken over town, above the hills in the north, showed the green glow...then a plane flew across the Big Dipper 😊 #NightPhotography#Photography#AuroraBorealis#Astronomy#Cymru
Sometimes you just gotta sit on a bench beside the Observatory, eating fish & chips from a favoured chippy (Stefano's on Morningside Road) in a chilly -1ºC under light of a full moon whilst watching the remains of an aurora display as Orion rises.
What a sunrise it was at Brothes Point on the Iles of Skye. A cold and strong win was blowing, but the colors that morning made up for shivering in the cold.

The ghost ships of #Hanoi's West Lake. Once ostentatious markers of the city's rising affluence, they are now just rusting eyesores nobody quite knows how to get rid of. #Vietnam#NightPhotography
The Milwaukee River runs through downtown Milwaukee, creating the boundary between the East and West sides of the city. The sidewalk bridges and elevated bridges across the River makes it easier for pedestrians on the Riverwalk.
Happy New Year everyone! The white lily is said to symbolize celebration, hope, rebirth, wellness, and peace. May we enjoy all of those things in 2024.
