In June 1944 she was deported to Auschwitz, where she was murdered in a gas chamber after selection.

6 January 1932 | French Jewish girl Germaine Steinlauf was born in Nice.

On 10 February 1944 she was deported from Drancy to Auschwitz in a transport of 1,500 Jews. On 13 February 1944 she was murdered in a gas chamber.
