I don’t understand this fury over linking #helldivers2 to a #psn account. First, every software product I use requires me to link to some centralized account. Also at least on steam deck I was warned, idk, three times before I bought it that this was a requirement? On the store page, on the small text warning and possibly when the game boot the first time.
Never have I seen a group get so mad over a complete nonissue.
The whole subscribe-for-free-gamez market feels a lot like the late-80s/early-90s computer magazine cover tape market. A sensible, affordable treat to begin with; soon becoming an escalating arms race with competitors that ended up utterly unsustainable.
By the end of that weird period, the magazines attached to the cassettes were emaciated shadows of their former selves...

Just tested out the new #DolbyAtmos feature on the #PS5 firmware beta and it works great. Much better than that terrible 3D audio thing they tried before.

That's worse than #PSN+ or #XBLG cuz at least if you've downloaded a game that was part of said subscriptions on #PS3 or #Xbox360 you could at least replay it if you rebewed your subscription.
OFC the Idea is with #NSAbook's subscription is to make cancellation impossible...
