There are only ~40 million Black people in the US. Population similar to Lagos state in Nigeria (the tiny red part).

There are ~250 million US white folk (~220 non-Hispanic white + ~30 million Hispanic white).

So Biden's "missing" 10% of Black men, is fewer than 2 million. Or less than 1% of white US population.🤡

White voters don't face the massive systemic voter suppression that Black voters do. So increasing white dem turnout is much easier.

So if your boy doesn't win, blame yourselves.

Most white folk in this country will vote for Trump.🤷🏿‍♂️

So when you type on the internet that Trump is a fascist, and that "we" must do everything to stop him, that's weird to me. Because most of y'all know that most of your family will be voting for him. And your relatives that plan to vote for him, will vote harder than the ones that think he's a fascist.🙂🙃

How selfish do you have to be, to expect Black folk that suffer from the racism that you demand, to save you from your own family?

So the WNBA premiere of Caitlin Clark was televised. But the WNBA premiere of Angel Reese (2023 champ who beat Caitlin Clark) and Kamila Cardoso (2024 champ who beat Caitlin Clark), wasn't televised or available to stream in the app. So... A fan set up a bootleg stream. 430K viewers tuned in to watch.🤯

The IDF has killed seven World Central Kitchen aid workers traveling in a convoy of three vehicles. World Central Kitchen aid workers are clearly identified by their clothing and their vehicles always contain highly visible large logos. This isn't imo a mistake. They were targeted.

See this woman on the left? Her name is Lalzawmi "Zomi" Frankcom. She was killed today by an IDF airstrike on her convoy of clearly labeled vehicles. They'd just finished transferring more than a hundred tons of aid from World Central Kitchen's maritime relief effort, which I tooted about earlier today. Here last act was to bring almost as much food to staving Palestinians as the entire US airdrop effort.

@Snowshadow @skykiss There's longer footage, the lights on the ship went out and came back on a bit before the crash. It seems like the zhip lost power and by the time it came back it was too late to avoid the bridge.

The state of the Union address is how people think elections work.

The state of voter turnout is how they actually work.

Today didn't change voter turnout, in swing districts, in swing states. So it changed nothing.

All the MSNBC talking head were going on about "What will Haley voters do now?!??" They're going to vote for Trump. They literally had video of a woman who said that she thought Trump was a liar and a cheat and terrible and didn't deserve to be in office, and the reporter asked her if she would vote for Biden in the general, and she said no. But they insist on acting like there are mythical swing voters.

When I was photographing birds with a very long lens on the empty beach south of 's airport, this magnificent gentleman waved to me, pointed to himself, and immediately struck a pose. I fired off this frame, we shared a laugh from 50m apart, and went on our respective ways.

I'd love to get it to him. Anyone know him?
