This is an awesome read, and I know some will find it hard to embrace it.

Lose of reasoning is a topic that I have been searching for quite awhile because... I just found it weird that people seems to believe some random people on the internet, rather than spending time to understand the topic, or everything is now spread by hype and fear these days.

Like I said before: reasoning is our valuable tool, and I hope we still have it.

I wish to install linux. Now I have gotten a new Asus Zenbook, but sadly, I couldn't install linux mint, and the installer crash on selecting disk partition, not to mention the display, audio, wifi, touch screen and mouse pad are all non-functional.

If someone have succeeded on installing linux with this laptop, please share some advices.

AI have many use, but it is definitely not for occupying our phone storage and does nothing useful. My phone have been stuffed by meta chatbot, and I don’t want another chatbot in my phone that have no real application.

During fixing one of the critical bug in an enterprise system, I have seen a dev didn't even know that java calendar month started from 0, caused the bug; I am not really surprise if someone don't know about hash functions.

Can any professional explain why use instead of writing some PL/SQL stored procedures then calling them using python?

I just found it is really tricky just to modify data conditionally on a single table, while these kind of tasks are easy using SQL update statement.

Sometimes when I'm looking through photos that I've taken I see one that I originally dismissed and think "wow how did I miss that." This photo of a great egret (Ardea alba) shot through foliage is one of those. To my eyes now, the out of focus foliage in the foreground, enhances the photo creating sort of an aura around the subject.

You know, the photographs that I post here are not quite a vivid as the same photographs that I post at my pixel's gallery, because here, I reduce the size of the photos and usually make a slight reduction in the quality of the photos to make them easier to load.
