What is your "too expensive" pricepoint for a PC Gaming Handheld device? (all in USD, please do the conversion in your currency) - in case none of this is too expensive for you, just comment instead of picking a number #pcgaming#handheld#pricing
The purple Game Boy Color was my first ever game system, followed by the purple #GBA and then the blue SP. The original DMG needs some repairs and replacement parts, it was a garage sale pickup years ago.
I use the #SteamDeck a lot nowadays, but I still try to make time for the #retro#handhelds. The mini #emulation handhelds can be a nice change of pace as well! Do you still like old school handhelds? Let me know!

I'd LOVE for this to be a growing trend in 2024 and years to come so SteamOS users and #SteamDeck fans could have more options in form factors and performance targets from their handhelds.
I've always been fascinated by these small computers. GPD makes these kinds of devices too. Ordered one once but I never got it. Been thinking of building one myself though I'm worried it would be too small to enjoyable use. I would definitely write on it, that I am sure of.
This new Dock by @jsaux? Despite some minor flaws, it might be their best product yet. It turns out to be the best :steamdeck: Steam Deck Dock on the market right now, offering HDMI 2.1, DP 1.4, VRR, and ALLM. Using it for my MBP as daily driver now, which tells you something. 👀
So I went to an electronics store in Japan over the weekend. Nowadays they have a 'portable pc gaming' corner with the Windows machines: Lenovo legion Go, ROG Ally, and the MSI crap with Intel. The most surprising thing was that the store did not even bother to install any (decent) games on them. On the demo units you could enjoy the glory of Win11 on a small screen and thats it. Thats an FAIL of epic proportions. Of course the Steam Deck was nowhere to be seen. #pcgaming#handheld#japan
What is your favorite gaming handheld console growing up?
For me, it has to be PSP, it was WAY ahead of its time....
