The governor didn’t offer much of a rationale in granting clemency to Daniel Perry, who killed a Black Lives Matter protester in 2020, but apparently the enemy of his enemy is his friend.

A topic that is mostly ignored even in news coverage is that Republicans have tacitly and explicitly made it legal to kill #BlackLivesMatter protesters.

It will be an interesting section of future history books which will cover incidents like Kyle Rittenhouee’s celebrity and giving drivers immunity for hitting protesters.

Jim Crow is alive and well in . If you're Black and you get sick, it is a widespread belief among corporate types that you're just trying to fix yourself up with drugs. We need a Justice Department that will sue to break up corporate healthcare monopolies. Companies that rely on Jim Crow to make a profit do not deserve to exist. https://www.kcur.org/health/2024-04-29/kansas-health-care-system-doesnt-work-as-well-for-you-if-youre-black-research-shows?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_content=Bek%20Shackelford-Nwanganga%20reports%20for%20the%20Kansas%20News%20Service&utm_campaign=Early%20Bird
