I got a computer for my kids for Christmas. I've been setting it up for them, and they really like playing retro games. So, in addition to RetroArch and a bunch of old console games, I also installed @scummvm with a handful of adventure games that I've loved since I was a kid (Monkey Island, King's Quest, Maniac Mansion).
I'm looking for suggestions for other ScummVM compatible games that adventurous kids might like that may be less well known.
Any point and click adventure games you played as a kid that you could recommend?

Still thinking about mosquitoes the size of jumbo jets (notice how they keep getting bigger?) flying around just sucking every drop of blood out of people with their obscenely-long proboscises. You just find mummified corpses lying around during the summer and you put on extra Deet because you know it's going to be a hot one. Maybe there would be bats the size of Manhattan which would prey on these mosquitoes, but there would be about two of them and they'd cause just as many problems as the gargantuan mosquitoes.
Maybe we need to limit the size a little. A mosquito the size of a Cessna would be able to drink one human dry and still be preyed on by something that wasn't unrealistically-sized.

Das ist natürlich übertragbar auf Datenbanken, Switch(Ports) Server usw….
Können sich die Admins dann zusätzliche Stellen beantragen wenn die Zahl deutlich überschritten wird?
Natürlich können die Zahlen alle paar Jahre diskutiert werden, weil es mehr Automatisierung gibt…
Ok, throwing it out there, #BoostsWelcome and appreciated. I have a Samsung phone with a USB-C charger port. I can't keep charger cables from falling out. The port doesn't seem to want to hold plugs. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've tried cleaning the port out but it's not dirty.

Ich möchte #DVDs für die Kinder auf #Jellyfin ziehen. Manche DVDs öffnet VLC unter Linux, andere (aus der gleichen Box) nicht. Die von VLC abgespielten kann ich dann auch rippen.
Bleiben die, die VLC unter Linux nicht öffnet. Gerade unter Windows probiert, da spielen die ab. Handbrake bleibt da aber auch irgendwann beim Überprüfen hängen.
Habt ihr Ideen oder Tipps, was ich noch versuchen kann?
Throwing this out there to #AskFedi: my Wi-Fi router is old but still serviceable, but every night between about 10 and 2 the speed I get turns to absolute garbage. Is this a sign that I should buy a new router, or is this something others have experienced? Some of you know I live for Zumba. The council run sports centres #Lifestyles have started clamping down on casual passes. I'm unwilling to give Liverpool City Council any personal data for reasons I will make obvious.
So I am now looking for a queer run exercise class. Preferably in the morning and music and dance themed. Preferably in walking distance.
