I realised I hadn't shared my "Dice Guardians" with you all. These were made by my youngest for me this Christmas and now guard my oldest set of dice (the set from the original D&D starter box)
The completely rational response to wanting some physical dice is researching resin molds, materials, production methods, and crafting them by hand, right? Asking for a friend. (That friend may be me.)
Speaking of the Ensoniq VFX-SD, it was advertised as the “First Music Production Synthesizer”. They must have meant within the Ensoniq family of synthesizers, because this came out in 1989, and before it, there is at least one that precedes it, in 1988. See reply to learn what it is.
Glad we took the night here instead of driving thru. No matter how badly I want to be home, I needed the wind down time and rest. Driving is hard work, especially the snow and fog we hit in Deadman's Pass.

Okay, learned something new tonight about #Falkon - I cannot get #Foundry to load in Falkon. I play a weekly #Pathfinder game and, nope, cannot log into the game in Falkon. Got some errors and it just wouldn't load. So, I had to use a different browser to join the game. Which stinks.
It makes it harder to use as my sole browser when certain things I use regularly do not work.
Then again for day to day stuff - it's still fine.
