NATO has reportedly identified two red lines that could prompt the Alliance's direct intervention in the war in Ukraine. These red lines are not operational plans but rather assessments of potential scenarios. The first red line involves the possibility of a third party's direct or indirect involvement in northwestern Ukraine, potentially creating a corridor between Ukraine and Belarus. The second red line is when Russia attacks the Baltic States, Poland, or Moldova
Myśliwce F-35, które wkrótce trafią do polskiej armii, nie będą miały tradycyjnej biało-czerwonej szachownicy. Będą za to szachownice w skali szarości, co wpłynie na prawdopodobieństwo wykrycia samolotu.

Bad Biden - good Canada.
In #netherlands court ruled to halt weapons export, through the #F35 project, because of the "clear risk the exported F-35 parts are used in serious violations of international humanitarian law".
In #denmark 4 ngo's, have started a case against the danish state to do the same. Denmark is also exporting mission critical parts through the F35 project for the F35 planes being used in #Gaza
“UK REFUSES TO SAY IF ISRAELI BOMBER PLANES ARE USING ITS CYPRUS BASE: After anonymous British officials reveal Israeli F-35s bombing Gaza have had access to Britain’s sprawling air base on nearby Cyprus, the UK military refuses to deny the visits, raising further suspicions about complicity in war crimes.”

Kenny MacAskill, Alba MP for East Lothian, asked the Ministry of Defence (MoD) if any Israeli Air Force F-35 fighter aircraft have landed at Akrotiri, the vast RAF base on Cyprus, since 7 October 2023.
[..]
“The MoD replied: ‘For operational security reasons and as a matter of policy, the Ministry of Defence does not offer comment or information relating to foreign nations’ military aircraft movements or operations.’
This comes after the Daily Express recently reported ‘senior sources’ telling the newspaper Israeli F-35s had until recently had access to the UK’s Cyprus base.”
An appeals court ordered the Dutch government to cease exports of F-35 components to Israel, saying “there is a clear risk that the F-35 parts to be exported will be used in committing serious violations of international humanitarian law.”
Australian Senator David Shoebridge questioned a Defence Department official about Australian-made parts being used in Israeli warplanes in Gaza.
“So the 50-plus contractors who contribute parts to the F-35 fighter jets that are currently being used to drop bombs on the Palestinian people in Gaza, none of their exports you count as weapons?” Shoebridge asked in a Senate hearing.

A #Dutch appeals court ruled Monday that the government of the #Netherlands should halt shipments of components for #F35 fighter jets to the #Israeli government because of its continued assault on #Gaza
BREAKING "Dutch court rules that all export from F-35 parts from Netherlands to Israel should end within 7 days. Says minister should reconsider export license in light of risk of violations of humanitarian law happening in Gaza."
#Israel has said it has informed the families of 31 people held in the territory since 7 October that their relatives are dead. The news came as the Qatari prime minister said #Hamas had given a “generally positive” response to proposals for a deal trading a break in the fighting and release of #Palestinian prisoners for the return of more #hostages.
#Netherlands argues that #Israel cannot be singled out for an #embargo, because the Dutch government exports parts to all countries in the #F35 programme under a single licence, labelled AV009.
Op zich hebben ze daar in Brabant natuurlijk wel wat gelijk, maar vergeten ze dat de vliegvelden in de Randstad (Schiphol om eens wat te noemen) al het nodige lawaai maken en ruimte in de lucht innemen.😇
A court in the Netherlands is expected decide on whether to force the Dutch government to cease supplying F-35 fighter jets parts to Israel.
The case relates to a stock of US-owned F-35 parts stored at a warehouse in the Netherlands which are shipped to several US allies, including Israel.
The parts “make it possible for real bombs to be dropped on real houses and on real families.” Michiel Servaes, director of Oxfam Novib and one of the plaintiffs.
The Netherlands can continue to deliver parts for F-35 fighter jets used by Israel in the Gaza Strip after a Dutch court threw out a case brought by a group of human rights organisations.
“The considerations that the minister makes are to a large extent of a political and policy nature, and judges should leave the minister a large amount of freedom,” the district court in The Hague ruled.
The #Pentagon’s costly fleet of #F35#fighterjets can only fly a little over half the time, as #maintenance issues keep the aircraft on the ground despite the growing# reliance on the #planes by the US and its allies. The fleet’s mission-capable rate or the % of time a plane can perform one of its assigned missions was 55 % as of March 2023, far below the Pentagon’s goal of 85 to 90% the GAO report - https://www.gao.gov/products/gao-23-105341#defense#govdocs
Military investigators are facing a slew of questions about why and how an F-35 stealth fighter jet went missing for more than 24 hours before its wreckage was found in rural South Carolina.
