I've been playing D&D on and off since I was in high school. Finally DM'd my first session earlier tonight and it went great!
Need to work out a better A/V setup though, since I couldn't get OBS to output audio to Discord the way I wanted. I was surprised that the OBS Virtual Camera didn't (appear to) have an audio output option for streaming OBS's scene audio (my microphone + background music) to Discord directly.
Is there a good "stream calandar" template to build off of? I made a quicky but it only works for a week, I'm starting to think I should plan it out for a month bc I can't keep up with making one a week
This is my old one, not bad considering my own GIMP skills, but I'm sure there's something more month-friendly
Brockenabfahrt mit dem Fahrkomfortsensor am #Lastenrad. Die Daten auf der Brockenstraße sind durch Abweichungen von der der normalen Messgeschwindigkeit etwas verzerrt. Insgesamt ist Strecke sehr gut und sauber, bis auf einige wenige Meter, auf denen Regen Sand und Steine auf den Weg gespült hatte.

Unsere Visualisierung einzelner Tracks ist unter https://codeberg.org/MDradelt/Trackvisualisierung dokumentiert. Mittlerweile haben wir uns noch eine weitere Möglichkeit mit #QGIS erarbeitet. Da kann man auch mehr Datenmengen verarbeiten und evtl. auch Daten für Onlinekarten ausleiten.
Is there a way to set up my Elgato Steam Deck to send a Buffer social media post instantly? I see a web request and web socket option but nothing else except specifically Twitter posting.
I need Mastdon, ideally buffer, discord, maybe Facebook.
Who's got a good solution for mirroring a stream chat to Discord (and ideally between twitch/youtube)? Restream's thing works but I have to edit Restream settings every time, and I don't actually stream via restream lately.
A better way to get YOUTUBE chat in OBS would also be nice. I use Septapus' CSS which is lovely, but I gotta change the URL every time.
With Streamlabs I don't need to change the URL, but it looks worse.
Struggling a little with #OBS and #DaVinciResolve on #Linux. On Windows, I was able to record h.264 files in .mov format, and Resolve would be able to read them no problem. (In fact, that's why I used .mov in the first place.) Seems that under Linux, Resolve will only read them as audio, and won't display the video at all. Tried all the formats available in OBS, to no avail, even the CPU encoder!
Would appreciate any help and boosts, because this sort of thing is really hard to search for.

I have a 'memes' folder for BRBs/etc with a randomized slideshow. It has about 500 pics. But I'd say only maybe 50 images cycle through it, with almost every image repeating at least once last stream.
Is it possible to use OBS (Open Broadcasting Software) to replicate a Google Hangouts type experience?
I'm an OBS novice. From what I can tell the answer is "sorta", but more of a static multi-person stream and less where folks dynamically come and go.
What would it take to extend OBS to function as a Hangouts analog for, say, up to 16 people. Could this be done as a plugin / extension, or would it require changes in the core source code?

If #Twitch happens to mess up royally like #Reddit and #Twitter have I may be able to justify moving my Twitch to #Peertube. But a lot of that would honestly be contingent on if I could monetarily support that and means community support. Twitch costs me nothing to host, #Mastodon and all this does cost money. Mastodon is inexpensive for what I get but streaming is very bandwidth intensive. We can revisit the issue down the road #streamer#gaming#gamingonlinux
@chiefgyk3d Standardized WebRTC-based streaming tools are just around the corner. #Twitch already has undocumented support for WHIP-ingestion and #OBS will have #WebRTC support through #WHIP in the next release. #WHEP for egress to viewers is what is still needing work in the ecosystem, but I see #selfhosted ultra low-latency streams being feasible in the near future.

The playbook support is what I use to automate my stream intro, including millisecond-accurate commands when using playbooks so you can do things like time to music playing.

I think I want to start streaming soon, just as an excuse to use and work on my girl voice more. Does OBS work better on Wayland or Xorg? I think like last time I tried to mess with OBS on Wayland all screen capture sources were black and not working.
