"Hi, I’ve identified as a trans man since my teens (I’m in my late 20s) and as bisexual. Recently, I've questioned my attraction to men, and feel a mix of shame/fear/dread cocktail that that I don’t really know how to unpack.

Thoughts you are probably not interested in:

I grew up in a very conservative environment, it took me some time to finally shed a lot of indoctrination.

I came to the personal conclusion that gender identity, sexual orientation, kinks and preferences are - for (my) practical purposes - just a bag of traits that an individual prefers at a point in time.

They are not immutable. They change, blend, mature or recede as we live our lives and gain experience.

I don't think those traits should necessarily solidify and calcify into a skeleton of inherent identity over time.

Is Barbie feminist? Not for all women

The film’s a marketing success, but its limited vision doesn’t apply to most women, for whom the world is grim, not pink, writes Priyamvada Gopal.

Queer Christians in India cautiously rebuild relationships with their churches

Driven away by anti-homosexual stigma, some queer Indian Christians are slowly returning to the fold – helped by some churches’ efforts to make safe spaces for them.

Only a man insecure in his sexuality, would deny there is much appeal, arousal & beauty in the naked male, as well as the naked female form. As a straight man, I never have an issue in recognizing the handsomeness, sexiness of a man, or a good body shape & giving deserved compliments etc. 😊

Blooming Lovely
Sometimes I am very lucky and my partner not only buys me flowers but helps me take photographs with them too. I haven't talked a lot about my partner on the blog, partly to protect his privacy and partly because he isn't very interested in sex, and this is, after all, a sex blog.

There wouldn't be a blog without him though. I'm not sure ther

I have a question for any other folks out there. For me, when I've been sexually atttracted to someone, and then consequentially have had that attraction break I would almost equate what I feel towards that person as ... well ... asexual. I am just not sexually attracted again. I feel complete neutrality. Is this normal? Am I even okay to describe the feeling as asexual? I feel so completely weird for asking this lol but it's why, for example, I can hang out with a friend of mine knowing very very well that absolutely nothing will happen between us, because I don't feel anything for this person.

** On sexuality** - Mine is rather like Schrödinger's Cat right now. I know exactly how it all worked before as finsexual, a personal known universe of permutations and possibilities. But currently it's locked in a box with vials of HRT instead of radioactive particles. Tbh it feels pretty chilled out in that state but ...

Alive, sleeping or changing 🐈? It's all a bit of a lovely mystery whether my constellations and sweet spots will realign, or have shifted a bit when the box is reopened
