If you have read the Tony Hillerman books set in the Navajo Nation, you might be interested in a TV series based on the books. It's called Dark Winds, on AMC. The first season in its entirety recently landed on MAX. They did a really good job. Robert Redford and George RR Martin are involved in creating it. Season 2 is on AMC right now.
S02E07 and S02E09 of #StarTrek#StrangeNewWorlds are so wacky. The directors have the cojones to pull that off as they know they have managed to revive Star Trek. 🫡
Currently, I am into "The Afterparty". It's a tv show on Apple+. My friend urged me to watch it, I wouldn't have chosen it on my own. It's a comedy murder mystery where every episode has a different genre style. I especially liked the musical and the highschool episode very much 😄 #theafterparty#tvseries

The production team working on #Constellation TV series for #appletvplus has not paid 1 million € worth of local services employed (catering, fuel, equipment rental, local actor wages) in Ivalo and Inari regions in Finnish #Lapland.
These local companies are rather small and definitely don’t have the muscle to fight large corporations. The bills have been unpaid for over 6 months now and threaten the continuity of these small businesses.
The people in the area were elated when the production decided to film there, and we really excited to help with the largest production ever. In the media the production team has been praising the support and the arrangements. The people who actually made it all happen have not been paid.
It is unclear how this could happen. The production company Turbine Studios seems to blame the local partner Film Service Finland for overrunning the budget. FSF on the other hand claims that they have not been paid fully by Turbine Studios. As a result FSF is in serious financial difficulties. In the end the subcontractors are likely to never see their money and many of them will go out of business. The impact this will have for future of film and TV productions in Finland is unknown, but it’s unlikely to be positive one.
I'm finally watching the Foundation series on AppleTV. I'm really enjoying it. Although I suck at reading fiction its making me want to read the books. However the CW is that the series is not much like the books. So I wonder how much I'd actually enjoy them. #Foundation#scifi#fiction#IsaacAsimov
Huh. I always thought Laurie Johnson was a woman, but apparently it's short for Laurence. Anyway, the Laurie Johnson theme for the Avengers (Steed and Mrs. Peel) series is basically the Riker's Beard of that show. It signals where it caught its stride and became what people think about today when you mention the show.
ICYAI, in regards to the admittedly pretty bad captions for 'Good Omens' Season 2 that made the show difficult or impossible to enjoy for a lot of people, the issue appears to have been fixed, so anyone relying on subtitles can now watch.
