Someone will be visiting a juror or 6.

THEY AREN'T ANONYMOUS ENOUGH!
I don't think THE MEDIA OR THE court system gets just how dangerous Trump's followers are.
Trump intimidated a jury member in court.
The MAGAts will find them & intimidation them FOR Trump OUTSIDE the court.

MAGA WILL THREATEN liberal jurors, not MAGA jurors. (COMPARE threats to Judge Engoron vs THREATS to Judge Cannon)

@spocko wow! That is a lot of detailed information that doesn’t seem remotely relevant to the court or public.

@TucsonSentinel glad you found a way to mention the law firm was not from Tucson, twice. I am sure that is a salient factor that has lots of bearing on whether open meeting laws were violated and what the remedies are. It’s certainly not some in-group / out-group click bait rage farming tactic designed to get the reader on your side using emotional appeals instead of facts.

In Gmail, searching for…

label:keyboard-secrets label:inbox

…doesn’t find all the relevant emails. I can see them in my inbox with the label as I navigate using < > buttons, but they aren’t all found when searching.

I thought this might have to do with the fact that perhaps not all the emails in threads get the right metadata, but even turning off “Conversation view” (threading) doesn’t solve the issue.

Is there a secret to making it happen? I’ve been googling and experimenting for a while.

Archnemysis,
@Archnemysis@mastodon.social avatar

@mwichary This seems to imply that as long as one message in a thread has the label, you could search for all messages with the label and then re-add the label. Then any messages in those threads would get the label added if they didn’t already have it.

Why aren't Korean rice cakes huge in the US yet? This is a simple, satisfying, not very nutritionally redeemable (so acceptable to Americans), comfort food that's basically pasta but more massive (and made of rice) or the tougher, more awesome cousin of "white bread"

Now that it's possible to make it shelf stable and easy to boil... what is the hang up?

Food Solid No.1 Should rule the world.

I need an outside compost thingy for food scraps and dog poop and I live in the desert (up to 115F in summer). Looking for recommendations. Not too big and must be able to contain smell.

Please only reply if you have direct composting experience, thank you.

Archnemysis,
@Archnemysis@mastodon.social avatar

@semitones @thomasfuchs coming up with browns is pretty easy in the desert. Once June hits, pretty much everything turns brown. 🥵 I never have a problem with smell, but I also never put dog poop or any animal fats or oils in the compost. We just use an old trash bin cut in half (top half) with holes drilled into it for air circulation. It serves our purpose but is difficult to keep stirred and not easy to extract the composted material. Would not recommend that for your use case.

Did you know before reading this poll that you can put a Mastodon account into "private" mode?

Archnemysis,
@Archnemysis@mastodon.social avatar

@evan Now I am curious if these options are “hidden“ and a new user has to seek them out, or if people just ignore everything, click next during the onboarding questions and just select the defaults. When I first joined I selected every restricted option. Took about a month to feel comfortable enough to switch from private to unlisted as my default.

I especially want to be sure I can offer stuff for people to play with from the fan sites and my own projects. I started trying to use AI Image Generators to kick start my brain for ideas for writing.

The prompts will eventually be open for people to use for anything of course.

My modest proposal: Failing water companies should go bankrupt, their investors lose everything, their boards and C-suites be fired, and the gov should buy them for £1 and run them as national utilities. Ditto the railways and privatised energy orgs that price-gouged us last 2 winters. Then every statue of Thatcher & her ideological allies should be melted down and turned into commemorative medals to celebrate the day we free ourselves of the stupidity that saw the nations' utilities and housing stock sold to profiteering wideboys.

My brain was so focused on remembering where I put the box that I couldn’t remember I already installed the fan. The brain is weird.
