They have confirmed 96 deaths. It is my understanding only 10 have been identified. Some will never be found, some will never be identified.
This will be a long gruesome process, let’s remember those numbers represent actual real human beings. People that were loved and will be missed.

There are some things I miss. This one occurred to me as I listen to my playlist.

I miss putting a record on the player, lifting the needle, and gently resting it on the spinning vinyl. For a few seconds, the speakers reflect that familiar crackling sound, then the music begins.

For some reason, I miss that. Digital is great, but the ritual of putting a record on the player and hearing that 'crackle' made the experience more personal and less 'remote'.

These include hidden razor wire traps, the withholding of water even in extreme heat, and orders to push migrants—including children and infants—back into the Rio Grande where they might drown. The sight of razor wire to corral innocent human beings has echoes for me personally, when similar wire surrounded the Japanese American internment camps of my youth. We cannot let Governor Greg Abbott get away with this. I'm calling on you, my friends, advocates and activists, to help put a stop to this by signing the petition demanding the Biden Administration puts an end to these inhumane practices against migrants in Texas.

    Stop blaming strikes for economic damage. Strikes are a logical response to overreach and greed from corporations and the wealthy. If there is resulting economic damage, look to those who drove the workers to strike in the first instance.

    Well, this is a first. Damn, I love my job.
    My noon meditation client just called and said she thinks she is in labor but doesn't want to cancel the session. The contractions are too far apart for her to go to the hospital. But she's nervous about it and wants to keep the session. I told her sure thing. If she gets a contraction, we can switch to Lamaze breathing.😂

    For those wondering, ′′how did i do it?":
    I boiled 10L of water, added 2 tablespoons of vinegar, 1 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate, two cups of coke, and half cup of lemon juice, then stirred well. Waited 3 minutes, put the pan in the solution for 45 minutes, then added a quarter cup of chlorine bleach to the mixture. Then I brushed it with a firm toothbrush and put it back into the liquid for another 25 minutes. I took it out, rinsed it, and it looked exactly the same, so I threw it away, and went and bought a new one.

    Edit: Please don’t actually make this concoction! The resulting mixture may produce poisonous gases! This toot is a joke, the pictures are not even my pans. I didn’t throw any pans away. Following these directions, despite the fact it probably won’t do anything useful, would be fucking stupid and you may win a Darwin Award.

    The best dog trainers I’ve dealt with, understand that training the dog is the easy part, training the dog’s human was the hard part.
