Is there an Egyptologist in the house? I'm looking for information about the attached glyph. I did a reverse image search and I found indication it is related to the god Ra. Where's a good resource of information for this sort of thing?

Spotify officially demonetises all tracks with under 1,000 streams

This is just an insanely bone-headed move that is so pointless.

These artists don't even get paid that much money, and yet Spotify wants to cut off their revenue.

I'm done with Spotify. In fact, I think I'm flat-out done with music streaming services. All of them are exploitative. back to buying digital albums for me.

I'm not sure what "big tech" is but I've been a programmer since the '90s. I was laid off from a job in 2012 because they outsourced my position to Asia. They did this to all US programmers between 2010-ish to 2013 when they finally closed the office. A few years later they went out of business.

The moral here is that they laid off all of their talent to save money and then went out of business.

I believe similar is about to happen regarding AI..

    Every time I log into my RSI account to buy Star Citizen, their website makes me enter an authentication code that was sent by email, but it never arrives. This has been going on over the last year.

    Is Star citizen even open to the public? The website makes it look like it is, but now I'm wondering if it's a closed sign up or invitation only or something like that. Does anyone know? Does RSI have an email address?

    Given that people seemed to want to post irrelevant topics to unrelated hashtags (for example posting pornography to anime hashtags) it would be nice if we had the opportunity to block hashtags. To take my above example, I could block all the pornography hashtags while following the anime hashtag. ✌️
    I'm not looking for feedback, just a suggestion for a future feature.
