The name of the kid who THREATENED TO MURDER JEWISH PEOPLE AT A SYNAGOGUE is being withheld "because he's a minor". Also, he was planning this BEFORE October 7th.)

Texas Observer This 11-Year-Old Brownsville ISD Honor Student Was Put in Solitary A fifth-grader reported being bullied by his principal. Five days later, he was hand- cuffed and detained. Eleven-year-old Timothy Murray has many trophies displayed in a row by the wall of his room. During a video call, he shows me what he’s won from science projects, chess competitions, and coding programs, and ends with the largest one in his col- lection—a three-tiered, star-studded trophy he won as grand champion of the Brownsville Independent School District Elementary Science Fair in November 2022. It seems almost as tall as his 4-foot-1-inch frame. He explains that the project measured safety factors when driving over the Golden Gate Bridge by changing variables of speed, mass, and the size of a vehicle. The project was the last one Timothy worked on with his father before his father died in April from multiple myeloma, a form of blood cancer. His dad had been sick since Timothy was two, and family outings were often trips to the hospital. As his cancer spread, Timothy’s dad never tried to hide his sickness. Rather, he de- mystified the disease, explaining the causes and the symptoms, and preparing Timothy for his possible death.

The current atmosphere is making it frighteningly easy for fascist actors to groom lonely people who are rightly horrified by what is happening in Gaza (and what is happening in the USA to suppress dissent) into antisemitism. We need to be there to try to pull our friends down off the ceiling, especially if they go from posting for justice and peace to conspiracies about Jewish people. Netanyahu is not Israel, and he is not the Jewish people. He is a criminal trying to save his own ass.

I wish people would say "Trump" when they mean Trump, and not 'funny' euphemisms like "Cheeto Dick," "Orangeface McDiaperpants," "Big Donny Doodooface Poopy Bad Man", etc.

I realize politics in 2024 are incredibly stupid, but some people are trying to filter him out of their feed for peace of mind. This makes it an ongoing game of whack-a-mole.

To be clear ...

For me, Never Again means for everyone.

My father was a WW2 veteran. What he experienced in that war both broke and transformed him as a human being.

He had been raised in the sticks, in a part of the country not known for progressive racial views. He saw the ugliness of racial bigotry with his own eyes, and wanted no more of it.

And he passed his values onto me.

I stand with anyone who believes everyone has a right to exist, and not only to exist, but to truly live.
