Ha! The Discord GDPR/Data Export thing reveals that it's running models to figure out what gender you are. If you go to /activity/analytics/events-*.json and grep for predicted_gender you get something like:

sitting here wondering if i've ever actually fully completed any final fantasy game and uhh

... i dont think i've finished literally a single one despite having played 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, crisis core, tactics, and tactics advance

i've gotten to the end in 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10 but something always happened that stopped me from beating the final boss. my save corrupted in 5, idk wtf happened in 6, i recall getting frustrated in 7 and 8, and in 10 i decided to get all the ultimate weapons and quit playing in disgust after finally beating the stupid chocobo race

weird thing to realize

eniko,
@eniko@peoplemaking.games avatar

anyway if you enjoyed the mechanics of the job system in final fantasy 5 then you should definitely check out my roguelike midboss, where possessed enemies function like jobs. and oh look, its on sale on steam right now! how fortuitous! https://store.steampowered.com/app/561740/MidBoss/

this was an excellent segue into promoting my stuff. i am good at marketing

For my birthday, I'd really like it if my beloved fedi could spread word far and wide of Kitsune Tails. It's a platformer with a heartwarming story featuring queer main characters and personal discoveries in classic SMB3 style. You can find trailer, screenshots, and wishlist links here: https://kitsunegames.com/kitsunetails

It's coming out this year and the team and I have been working hard on it for several years now. Most of the team is queer in some form so by boosting you'd not only be making me happy on my birthday, but supporting a bunch of queer creators making queer art as well

yuzu kitsune tails, a purple haired fox girl, picks up samurai armor in a tower that's rapidly filling with lava. she jumps away from the rising lava and sticks her spear in the wall, doing a dashing twirl to get on top of it. she walks off the spear and into a new scene, fighting a ghost fox with armor and spear. it stabs and she jumps over, but is caught by a follow up stab. the ghost fox over extends and its ghostly powers wane, giving yuzu a chance to bop on its head

"The theft-prevention system installed in Seattle rental cars by a car-sharing company was designed to prevent cars being towed away by thieves. It disabled the cars remotely if they were detected to be moving with the engine off. Renters taking the boat ferry found themselves unable to restart their cars when the ferry docked. Oh wow... This is something special! I found an early pre-release version of "Castle of the Winds" .. v0.5.4. This was apparently released exclusively for Microsoft employees back in the day.

I think it's an awesome collector's piece! My gratitude goes to "iamxray" for his generous upload.

Here's where I found it:
