Fingers crossed for my friends in the ESA #BepiColombo mission operations team & colleagues from industry as they work to restore the solar electric propulsion system to full power 🤞

The SEP system is critical to adjust Bepi’s trajectory between the various Mercury flybys, slowing the spacecraft down ahead of entry into orbit around this enigmatic innermost planet in December 2025.

The International Astronomical Union (#IAU) are hosting an #astrophotography gallery in #VR! The event is on May 27 from 11am - 12:30pm UTC and May 28 from 8pm - 9:30pm UTC, and showcases astronomical photographs captured with a smartphone 📱🌌

The event is being held in spatial.io, which is accessible from a VR headset (Quest), or just from your computer browser (i.e. no headset needed).

Ici, je vais principalement parler de climat, de gaz fossile (toujours faussement présenté comme une énergie de transition 🙄), de Total, Engie et de transition juste de l'industrie pétro-gazière —> surprise, c'est mon travail de mener des campagnes sur ces sujets pour les Amis de la Terre ;)

Et puis j'ai aussi envie de parler de militantisme soutenable, d'intersectionnalité des luttes...
