When biking my son to school, there's a road with a pedestrian crossing that we use. Every time, the first 2-3 vehicles won't stop within 10 seconds of us pressing the button.

There are no visual obstructions, and I'm a tall dude wearing a bright orange helmet. Car culture teaches folks to be assholes.
