Ever since her vet scare a month ago, we’ve been walking much more slowly. 15 years with her and every moment has been a blessing. I’m thankful to have a little bit more with her. As long as she’s happy!

We lost our dog to old age 2 years ago, and I just recently started scrolling through PetFinder app. Wilcox suddenly appeared on my screen and had me lol'ing. I might have to check him out.
Our old terrier, Hamish, meeting a kindred soul this day 5 years ago. Hamish was the result of his Scotty mum having an unplanned (by his owners) tryst with a Norfolk Terrier. He looked like a Scotty when his hair was under control, but most of the time just wild.
Much missed, but he want out in his usual good style, a good breakfast (visitors had cooked haggis, sausages and eggs) and then just went back to his bed by the fire.
Real progress! Our tabby named Sunday and our black cat named Peck are eating together, side by side. Not long ago this would have been impossible. There would have been hissing and fighting. But Sunday has come a long way in accepting Peck and the other 3 little foundlings into her life.
Does anyone have any advice at #dogsofmastodon for helping my traumatised dog enjoy his walks more? Two years ago he was attacked by two escaped off-lead Rottweilers when we were out walking. It was terrifying. Now he barks at any dog, any size or breed.
We have tried dog school to desensitise him. Vet gave him anxiety tabs. Vet told us to take him down streets where he's unlikely to meet other dogs (ugly places with no trees or happy smells). We just want him to enjoy being outdoors again.
@AbandonedAmerica You have a huge account, so I'd guess it's really easy to miss or not have time for comments. I'm glad to hear Charlie is ok, I know you were really worried for a while. So sorry for the lingering fear. @Godfrey642
