Das Modul Lig Bro jetzt ohne künstliche Intelligenz. Nur noch mit meiner. Oha.

Lig-Bro ist ein OSR-Remake des DSA-Klassikers „Das Grabmal von Brig-Lo“ von Hadmar von Wieser. Konkret geschrieben für Swords & Wizardry. Analag zum Modul „Das Nebelmoor“ hat das Abenteuer außer dem Namen und der grundsätzlichen Inspiration nicht viel mit dem Vorbild gemeinsam. Lig-Bro ist größer und gemeiner als das Nebelmoor und enthält ein paar Insider-Witze, die vielleicht nicht an jedem Tisch zünden. Ich selbst finde mich saukomisch und das ist ja das Wichtigste.

@Seba @curiouscat @kritischerfehlschlag.de@kritischerfehlschlag.de ganz im Gegenteil! Die Pnpde-Community war zu lieb, um bei der ersten Version die KI-Bilder in der Luft zu zerreissen 🙂

Der Zusammenhalt zwischen Spielenden und Künstlern ist (hier im Fediverse und früher auf Twittr) ziemlich stark und es hat viel Austausch über die negativen Effekte von KI auf Kunstschaffende gegeben. Von daher ist die Verwendung hier generell eher ungern gesehen (das ist zumindest mein Eindruck ohne Anspruch auf Allgemeingültigkeit)

Not sure why an academic process would turn to a political body for a working definition of AI. It’s not news that many senior government bureaucrats have tended to be sloppy about the nuances of the term.

query about why a isn't deterministic.

OBSERVATION:

Download the same video multiple times using yt-dlp URL. The contents aren't the same even minutes apart. The SHA256 hashes don't match.

QUESTION

Why does this happen?

SPECULATION

  • yt-dlp doesn't strip out sponsors in a deterministic way

  • YouTube tweaks the bitrate on the fly despite requesting the highest quality

  • YouTube adds steganographic fingerprints to thwart downloaders via state violence

I'm guessing you know better than to define it as "exactly the video data that was originally uploaded to YouTube".

But then, what data exactly do you expect to be served?

And, second: Do we expect that to be the same data served on multiple requests to the same URL? Why or why not?

The new v0.19.2 update is pretty small this time around, but it comes with some important fixes to get our local API working again.
