#Trump pledges to 'roll back' Democratic President Joe #Biden’s #gun#regulations put in place by Democratic President Joe #Biden & to fire the #ATF chief during a lengthy rally speech to the #NRA on Sat, during which he accepted the influential group's #endorsement.
The address to thousands of #NRA members at the group's annual Leadership Forum in Dallas was light on new #policy, but he used the platform to urge #gun supporters to go to the polls in the Nov #election.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott granted a full pardon to Daniel Perry, a man convicted of murdering a Black Lives Matter protester in downtown Austin in 2020, after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles unanimously recommended the move. Perry claimed during the trial that he shot Garrett Foster, who was carrying an AK-47 rifle, in self-defense. Prosecutors argued Perry was seeking out the confrontation. Read more from USA Today.

A Maryland woman admitted to scheming with a neo-Nazi leader from Florida to destroy electrical substations surrounding Baltimore in an attack that she told a confidential FBI source would be “legendary” and “probably permanently completely lay this city to waste.”

A U.S. appeals court rejected a bid by President Biden’s son, Hunter, to dismiss federal gun charges against him brought by special counsel David Weiss, allowing a trial to move forward next month. Hunter Biden was indicted on three felony charges related to his purchase of a Colt Cobra 388PL revolver in 2018 and lying about his drug use on a federal form. CBS News has more.
