A few years ago I was obsessed with this typeface called Lovadelic (by Ricky Rinaldi) so I spent money on it that I couldn't really afford but I was in a hypomanic era. It really is gorgeous!
I've used it for a logo for Camp Boom (a fat positive camp in New Zealand organised by Jo from House of Boom) and random graphics for my own frivolous purposes and today in my email newsletter.
Oh yeh, all the new trash tees are live on my site. I tell my email list first because I need to look after my flock. Mastoflock gets second notification!!!
If you're after plastic jewellery, I am clearing out my stock. It needs to go to new homes to be worn and loved! Get 20% off with ENDOFANERA (minimum spend $10.)
I'm going to try and list my latest trash tees today but it is a hard slog and my brain is crying at the thought of the tedium.
I went to add some pictures of the tshirts to this post but realised they're all in Lightroom waiting for colour balancing and whatnot. I'm gonna throw a tanty.
It's 21°C and I am freezing. I think I am what people are calling "dysregulated".
I had originally written something flippant but if people want to boost this post it'd be lovely if I had written something that tells people what the hell I'm doing. I'd love to find my people, so boost away!
Original text: If all the colours aren't balanced... well, that's on me I am very impatient right now and I'm going to boil some eggs.
#ThriftFlip for an awarding ceremony I attended for work. The dresses cost 18 USD and the outfit took me 2 nights to make. I used a pattern from a local designer for the top and the skirt is self-drafted. I was a bit apprehensive about wearing this to a fancy event at Marriott but it turned out okay, all seams intact! #Sewing#DIY#SustainableFashion

If you want an easier way to wear nettles, ramie is a very sustainable fabric made from nettles, similar to linen. I’ve made a few garments from it and love it (it’s sting-free, I promise!). This particular ramie is really hard-wearing, perfect for trousers: https://www.textileexpressfabrics.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=Ramie
I'm getting ready for a market here in Bangkok and thought I'd take the chance to share a pic of our totes. Each is one-of-a-kind due to the nature of our material. (We get offcuts from a banner manufacturer that would otherwise go to waste.) If you know of a local shop that focuses on #upcycled or #sustainablefashion, please let me know. We launched earlier this year and are scrambling to break even so we can keep turning waste into useful things.
