Life has had me very busy lately! Finally catching up on all of the gardening and weeding the heat wave kept us from. It's still hot...92 today, but it beats 99!
This is the second in my vintage botanical series showing yellow and white paphiopedilum orchids and blue morning glories. Having so much fun creating this series. Hope you enjoy viewing it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

This simple red rose pastel artwork was done a few years ago. Roses are one of the most popular flowers anywhere and they are very beautiful, but they aren't necessarily my favorites to work with, or to try to grow in my garden for that matter. They can be a bit fussy.
This cluster of yellow miniature orchids are seen growing on the side of a tree deep in a moss-draped woodland wilderness. Wild orchids are found in many woodlands & arboreal forests across the country. Florida itself has over 100 wild species, 40 of which can be found in the Everglades National Park.
