A transgender man was forced to use the women's bathroom. Upon entering, a group of men assumed he was a transgender woman trying to use the women's room and beat the shit out of him. The police then showed up and arrested him. He did the thing that conservatives say they want (using the bathroom associated with the gender on your birth certificate) and he was beaten and arrested regardless. It's clearly not about the bathrooms, and never was. They simply do not want these people to exist. #hate

There's a few users I've been keeping an eye on after seeing them post misinformation and hate speech. Just keeping a list for now because I don't know how to report them. Where should I go to do this?
I know, I know, I'm the devil incarnate but I actually think #threads could be a good thing for the #fediverse.
I'm not saying we should all switch to it, I prefer the feel of #hachyderm and the indie fediverse in general, but for onboarding new folks I think it has potential.
My biggest concern is how we prevent the sort of #hate against others that seems so common on some mainstream social networks.

Among many things, use of the word “#Zionist” sets off alarms for the many different people who hear it. Is it pure #antisemitism? I just want to be clear. Racism and hate are learned behaviors. You can be white and not racist. You can be white and exposed to racism and choose not to be a racist.
